2.40pm – 2.55pm 15 Minutes of Fame – Turu.com.au: Finally, an online aggregator has entered Australia’s holiday park arena, pulling together the inventory of almost 2000 properties, some of which have never been part of the travel distribution chain. It’s been a challenging journey and there’s still a long way to go.
2.55pm – 3.30pm Google Hotel Finder: The End of Search? Google, the biggest source of bookings for hotels and OTAs, has thrown the industry a curve ball with the launch of Hotel Finder. Some say it will force costs up and returns down. Two presentations, one on paid search, the other on SEO, and discussion on Google Hotel Finder.
