Strategic Review Under Way for Qantas Websites

THE Qantas Holidays, Qantas Business Travel and Jetset Travelworld websites will be revamped, Jetset Travelworld CEO Peter Collins has confirmed.

“The first step in this is to increase the conversion rates on the existing websites where our product is available, for instance on Qantas.com, jetset.com.au and travelworld.com.au,” Collins said.

“We are also enhancing the use of web-based booking sites for our trade customers (and) undertaking a careful investigation into how we should expand our online presence.”

In a complicated transaction earlier this year, traditional retail group Jetset Travelworld acquired Qantas Holidays and Qantas Business Travel. The Qantas Group then bought a 58% majority share of Jetset Travelworld. Travel Trends: November 7, 2008
