Andy Owen-Jones has been the CEO of TravelTainment since February 2009. He came to TravelTainment as the Managing Director in April 2008 on the foundation of the Amadeus Leisure Group. As the Director of Travel Distribution Solutions in the area of Corporate Strategy in the Amadeus IT Group, he was responsible for the development of new business models and offers for the international leisure business.
TravelTainment is the world’s leading multi-channel leisure travel distribution system. Operating in 8 countries and offering Online tools and travel agency tools as well as mobile applications, the group has 300 staff working delivering mass transaction, data driven selling systems. In markets such as Germany 90% of all leisure sales pass through the TravelTainment systems
Up until 2001, Andy Owen-Jones was Commercial and Technical Director at Virgin Travelstore. Prior to that, he was the Director of IT and HR at Virgin Atlantic and worked for Deloitte Consulting and British Airways. He studied at London and Oxford Univesrities.

No Vacancy continues to evolve. After the success of No Vacancy Thailand, the 2012 event will expand to encompass Southeast Asia.
It'll still be held in Bangkok and Thailand remains central to No Vacancy's future in the region.
