Jetstar Japan Announces Routes, Take-Off In July

Jetstar Japan has announced it will start operations ahead of schedule on July 3, based at Narita, with Tokyo, Osaka, Sapporo, Fukuoka, Okinawa confirmed as destinations. It will used three new A320 aircraft to service the routes. Fares have not yet been released but Jetstar Japan CEO Miyuki Suzuki is promising average discounts of 50%.

Ms Suzuki says Jetstar Japan has received almost 10,000 expressions of interest received for cabin crew positions. “The great response we’ve had from potential crew and the positive discussions we’re having with local airports has allowed us to bring our first flight forward by several months.”
