More People Paying Less to Fly at Qantas Group

Discounting is working a treat in driving traffic at the Qantas Group with the number of passengers flying Qantas, QantasLink and Jetstar during August increasing 6% over the same month last year. Loads for July and August have also improved for the finacial year to date at Qantas Domestic (82.8%), Jetstar Domestic (83.1%) and Qantas International (83.2%). Jetstar International was flat. The only catch of course is that yield is down 1.7% across the group (from already low levels) for the financial year so far.
