Rod Cuthbert founded Viator in Sydney in 1995, and since then has led the team that created the world's leading one-stop-shop focused on booking tours & activities online.
Viator is now a $100m-plus business, its expansion fueled by rapid growth in its direct-to-consumer efforts via the company's award-winning retail site, Viator.com, and the recent development of multiple foreign-language sites.
Co-located in Sydney and San Francisco, Cuthbert is currently focused on Viator’s global expansion, and supporting key partnerships in the company’s global network of travel suppliers and distribution partners.
Before launching Viator, Rod spent more than 20 years in the Australian & U.S. IT industries, including sales and marketing roles at NCR Corporation and Digital Equipment, and as founder of a software developer, Creative Laser Systems.
Rod started his entrepreneurial career as a retailer of PCs in Melbourne, Australia.
