Jetset - the parent company of the Jetset and Travelworld retail brands plus wholesaler Qantas Holidays – has just had its shares placed into a trading halt to "finalise the terms of a material merger". Travel Daily says the merger is rumoured to be with Stella Travel Services, which owns retailer Harvey World Travel and Travelscene American Express among many other travel businesses.
