Maldives Coup Drama – Paradise Lost

Two people  have died in clashes with police following a coup on the island of Male in the Maldives. The coup led by the army and police overthrew President Mohamed Nasheed followed months of unrest with Islamic undertones. The unrest will have serious repercussions for tourism, which sustain's the Indian Ocean nation's economy. Paradise lost?  See Wall Street Journal story.
