Roamfree founder Tony Smith has strongly refuted a statement in Traveltrends.biz that he is a “failed internet entrepreneur”. TravelTrends acknowledges that while Roamfree was placed in voluntary administration in late 2009, Tony Smith sold his company shares and left Roamfree in early 2008. Prior to Roamfree, Tony Smith founded the successful Breakfree Resorts holiday apartment management business, which he sold into what would eventually become MFS/Octavier.
Companies associated with Mr Smith now manage the Semara Resort and Spa brand in Bali, which is to open in the second quarter of 2011. Contrary to what we said in our last story “Semara Resorts” is easily found when searching Google or you can find out more information by visiting www.semararesorts.com.
TravelTrends.biz admits that it incorrectly named Mr Smith’s new business and apologises for that. TravelTrends.biz wishes Mr Smith all the best in his new venture.
