Bound Round, a business which started life as a kids travel app” and expanded into other area of publishing – has continued its evolution as a multi-platform travel media company, buying the Family Travel magazine and brand from Elwin Media.

CEO Janeece Keller (pictured) said the merger creates the largest family travel editorial platform in Asia Pacific with a “combined reach of over 3,500,000 (readers, viewers??) per year.”

“Effective immediately the consumer travel brands Family Travel and Out & About With Kids will operate as a singular brand, Family Travel,” she said.

“Out & About With Kids magazine will continue to be published quarterly, under a new masthead Family Travel, with the Out & About With Kids brand continuing as a recurring section within the title.

“Online, the merge between the two brands will be a longer transition. will continue to operate alongside the remainder of 2018, with content and campaigns to run across both sites and to both audiences.”

Elisa Elwin has been appointed Head of Family Travel Magazine and Partnerships, and Executive Editor at Bound Round.

“As a small, independent publisher, now was the perfect time to harness the power of a collaborative partnership,” Elwin said.
