Getting High and Making Money in the Aussie Alps

Lots of snow, blue sky and a gentle breeze. The view from 2000 metres at Thredbo, which has just posted an $18m profit for the 16/17 financial year, up 21% over last year due mainly to more skiers and higher ticket prices.

This season has been even better from a snow point of view, with an outstanding August punctuated with a couple of major storms and framed by cold, clear days such as the one above.
