Tasmanian Walking Company (TWC) today officially opened the eagerly anticipated Three Capes Lodge Walk, claiming to offer “Australia’s most innovative and environmentally sustainable lodges”.
Crescent Lodge and Cape Pillar Lodge will accommodate guests during the four-day 46 km fully-guided walk along the famous track in southeast Tasmania.
It is the fourth multi-day walk for TWC, which is owned by former Virgin Australia CEO Brett Godfrey and his deputy CEO Rob Sherrard.
The pair have jointly invested in several other tourism ventures including Quamby Estate, Low Head Pilot Station, Lake House, Entally Estate in Tasmania and Makepeace Island.
Godfrey is also on the board of Auckland International Airport, WestJet Airlines and serves as Chairman of Tourism and Events Queensland.
