Asian hotel performance slumped during March fell across all key metrics, according to STR Global. Occupancy dropped 0.7% to 69.2%, average daily rate fell 3.3% and revenue per available room decreased 3.9%. Bangkok reported its lowest room occupancies in 10 years, while room rates in Bali tumbled 13%. On an encouraging note, after several difficult years, India is finally showing signs of occupancy growth.
