Club Med’s move to more upmarket product – aligned with a consumer shift to all-inclusive holidays (witness the rise and rise of cruising) – has proved a winner in the Australlian market. Latest Club Med sales for Australia show a 53% increase in business bookings, 19% for family, 12% ski and 17% up for the 4 and 5 Trident resorts in Asia Pacific. Club Med says global revenue so far this year is up 11% over 2010.
