Nothing it seems can get between Australians and their love affair with Bali, which last year recorded just over 4m tourists, according to the Bali Government Tourist Office.
Of those, almost 1m were Australians who kept on coming despite consistent flight disruptions through the year caused by repeated volcanic eruptions.
Meanwhile, online travel agent Hotels.com today said its data showed Bali was the most popular international destination among Australian customers last year.
