Sydney-based tours and activities software company Booking Boss today announced it has raised $2m in Series A funding from investors including tech entrepreneurs Michael and Daniel Dempsey, who sold Ezidebit for $304m last year, US venture capital firm Acequia Capital and former CEO of Wotif, Scott Blume.
Booking Boss operates a subscription based business model and was founded in 2013.
The company has not divulged revenue or client numbers but claims to have made significant inroads into the Australian market.
Europe is now a focus with its first continental client, ParisTrip set to go live next month.
“We expect much of our growth in the coming year to come from Europe,” said founder and CEO Renee Welsh.
Booking Boss provides “booking and inventory management software with integrated point of sale and channel management functionality”.
Its customers include sightseeing tour operators, zoos and wildlife parks, museums, cooking schools and a wide range of other activity providers.
