Booking.com Pricing Policy Targetted By Germany

Germany’s anti-trust regulator, the Bundeskartellamtt, plans to stop the country largest online travel agent, Booking.com, from using its market power to prevent hoteliers from offering lower rates on their own sites.

Bloomberg reports that: “The Bundeskartellamt intends to forbid Booking.com, by far the largest hotel portal in Germany, from further use of the best-prices clauses,” regulators said in the statement. “The ongoing procedure against Expedia continues.”
