Travel and expense management software company Concur Technologies is set to boost its Australian workforce by 20% over the next 12 months as the business continues to grow strongly.
Managing Director Australia New Zealand, Matthew Goss, pictured, last night said there’s enormous growth ahead for the sector, estimating current market penetration at just 10%.
He said many companies – startled by the rapid emergence of disruptive companies such as Airbnb and Uber – are re-evaluating the way they do business.
There’s a renewed commitment for change, a tipping point perhaps, and the cloud-based, hands-free solutions offered by Concur tap into that mindset, Mr Goss said.
Concur has more than 100 staff in Australia and New Zealand.
When Mr Goss set up the business here in the early 2000s it had just two employees, including him.
