Discounting Drives Occupancy in Asia-Pacific

Occupancy up, rates down. That’s the message from STR analysis of Asia Pacific hotel performance in February. Occupancy across the region increased by 8% to 68.7%, average daily rate fell 5% to US$102.95 while revenue per available room increased 2.6% to US$70.67.
