Since joining Greyhound in December 2006, Gagan has completely reinvented the Greyhound product offer, making it the leader in youth travel sector.
In an environment predicting demise of coach travel, Gagan’s team has used the simplest forms of forward integration, code sharing and product bundling to make the Greyhound Australia model robust, future proof and hard to replicate.
A big focus now for his team is to optimise the use of new marketing to reach their consumers direct and the point of decision making.
Before joining Greyhound, Gagan worked with Holden Leasing and Hertz rent a car.
At Holden Leasing he was the National Marketing Manager for 2 years and was the Brand Manager for Hertz – Middle East, based in Dubai, for 6 years prior to that.
Gagan has an MBA in Marketing from Pune University, and has been in advertising and marketing throughout his working life.
Gagan lives in Brisbane with his wife and young son, he thrives on adventure activities, single malt and movies.
