Hotels Using More Websites To Sell Rooms

Further evidence that the internet has complicated rather than simplified the travel distribution chain comes from channel manager RateTiger which says hotels are now selling inventory across an average of 10 websites compared with seven websites in 2007. “Hoteliers are (also) getting more sophisticated in how they use the internet to optimise price,” says Sascha Hausmann, CEO, eRevMax, owner of RateTiger.
