With the upcoming Aussie cruise season set to be the biggest on record – more ships and cabins than ever before – specialist online agency Cruise Sale Finder has taken the plunge and expanded into TV marketing.

Ryan Posa, GM of Cruise at parent company Online Republic, said the aim was to build brand.

“We are trialling TV with the aim of increasing trust in, and awareness of, the Cruise Sale Finder brand,” he said.

“We are also interested in adding a new sales channel to diversify the business from the highly competitive online ad environment.”

The ads are running on Foxtel and feature a couple of koalas looking for a cruise deal – go figure – and early results are good.

“We’s already seeing a huge increase for brand term searches now it’s a matter of turning those lookers into bookers.”
