James is one of the founders of  Jump On It,now part of the Living Social daily deals empire. James raised $1.3m in funding in April, 2010 and launched www.jumponit.com on May 17, 2010, partnering with Living Social in November, 2010.
He says: “JumpOnIt.com brings highly discounted exclusive deals on the best things to do, see and buy in major cities throughout Australia offering consumers a ‘deal-a-day’. Consumers have only 24 hours to secure discounts of up to 90% off restaurants, spas, gyms, outdoor activities and other exciting things to do in their city.
“Buyers purchase their coupons individually and when enough people “jump on it”, the deal is activated and each buyer is emailed a coupon.”
James also is also co-founder of the Genis Group, a mobile marketing company engaged in the design and distribution of digital products including music, mobile games and competitions. Genis Group has achieved self-funded growth and continued profitability since launch. It currently operating numerous mobile content brands profitably in six countries.
He also executed a range of agreements with national and international partners. Other responsibilities included relationship management and growth; product and marketing campaign development; performance analysis; co-responsibility for company decisions and direction. James sold 50% of his personal equity holding in in Genis Group in late 2009.
