She has over 15 years experience as a customer experience researcher and designer in the US and Australia.
Her work has focused on humanizing products and services, in leadership roles defining the strategic plan and positioning of products and services down to the most detailed of interactions within them.
While her work spans industries, Janna has extensive experience in the online travel space, serving as a lead designer for US-based Orbitz.com across all aspects of travel booking, customer support, packaging, partnerships and travel add-ons.
Janna is currently working with Qantas on how technology is used to enable internal staff to perform their jobs and shape the way they work.
Janna has been very active in the Interaction Design Association (IxDA), an international organisation dedicated to advancing the discipline of interaction design. She served as President of IxDA’s Board of Directors, to now serving as Co-Chair of the global Interaction Awards.
