Expedia Australia is demanding deal parity from hotel clients currently participating in Wotif.com’s heavily promoted  three day sale, which began yesterday, and are pulling the inventory from its website of those that don’t comply. Complicating the scenario is the fact Wotif.com – by far Australia’s biggest accommodation retailer – is demanding pricing/deal exclusivity as a condition of participation. As a result many leading properties have been switched off by Expedia for the duration of the Wotif.com sale.
