Young Melbourne entrepreneur Anthony Soriano has just launched Loom, an app that allows friends to synchronise their travel itineraries and meet up while on the road.
“There’s also a map feature, which highlights where friends will be holidaying each month with a click of a button and a chat function to easily communicate,” Anthony says.
The app has been on the market for two weeks and has achieved good early traction with users.
Industry partnerships are very much part of the growth plan and Loom’s had some early success on that front, linking with Tribal Sports, who are bringing Arsenal FC to Sydney in June.
Anthony says it has taken two years and $120,000 in outside investment to get Loom to this point.
“I also established a solid relationship with developers all the way in Belarus who work on the app daily and have made the user experience incredible. ”
Loom is available on the App Store and also Google Play.
