Rebrand as Tiger Airways Drops Stripes To Become Tigerair

Logo - TigerairAsian low-cost carrier Tiger Airways, owned by Singapore Airlines, has re-branded as Tigerair and launched a new website, which rolled out today.

The leaping tiger has been ditched for a “contemporary grey rounded font typography, with blushing orange accents” that is “warm, passionate and genuine”.

In Australia, where the airline has a poor reputation, CEO Rob Sharp commented:  “Today’s news is much more than just a fresh coat of paint and a new logo – it is the start of the revival of our airline here in Australia.”

Tigerair also operates in Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines.
