The Mantra Group is in the midst of a restructure that has cost two of its best-known employees their jobs. Director of Marketing, Ken Minnikin, and GM Distribution and e-Commerce, Luke Jamieson, left the company last Friday. They were among about a dozen employees at the company’s Gold Coast head office who were made redundant.
Replacements have not yet been announced, if indeed there will be any, nor has the new structure been revealed.
A spokeswoman said “some areas of the business have been streamlined” while other parts of the business are set to grow.
Mantra Group has 108 properties in Australia, New Zealand and Bali with 17 projects in the pipeline.
It owns the Mantra, BreakFree and Peppers brands.
