Matt Hobbs is the Digital Marketing Manager for online tour/attractions specialists Experience Oz.

He has a passion for all things digital and web – from SEO to marketing copy to design – and believes that if people simply stop trying to take online shortcuts and focus on “creating good stuff” first and foremost, it will raise the quality of the Internet as a whole along with having inherent branding and sales benefits for all businesses.

Having worked in marketing in Japan for several years, which helped expand his perspective on cultural differences in attitudes towards advertising and digital consumption habits between the East and the West, he is now focused on the ever-increasing Chinese market.

This has brought forth a series of issues – both cultural and technical – that have made for an enjoyable challenge in bringing Aussie product to a disparate market.

He also works as an independent SEO and online marketing consultant.
