Melanie Ingrey, Nielsen, smallMelanie has specialised in conducting research about online consumers for the past eleven years.

Since landing in an online games company in London ( during the dotcom boom in 1999; then moving to a technology marketing agency, Banner Corp during 2001-2003. Melanie re-located back to Sydney in early 2003 to join Nielsen’s online division and is now responsible for the Nielsens Research Team across the Media Industry Group in APMEA.

Aside from conducting customised research studies across APMEA to help clients understand and maximise their online performance, Melanie has been responsible for the delivery of Nielsen’s market reports since 2003.

She has established and authored numerous studies to provide insight into online behaviours and attitudes, including The Australian Social Media Report, Business Social Media Benchmarking Study and The Australian Online Consumer Report.
