The new ‘Ask A Nomad’ iPad app from World Nomads reached #7 in the top 10 travel products on Apple’s US App Store within days of release and has now been downloaded more than 10,000 times. The app, which is free, was developed by Michael Shaw and Jaidev Soin. It allows travellers to ask questions and share advice. “We had hoped it it might get around a thousand downloads a month,” said Michael.
“But we took more than 7000 downloads last weekend alone,” said Michael. World Nomads CEO Simon Monk will be speaking on Mobile at TRAVELtech on August 29.
