Abacus has claimed it is “12 to 24 months ahead of competitors in all key product areas” while launching its newest travel agent product, Abacus AutomationHub, at the Abacus International Conference in Seoul yesterday.
VP Commercial and Marketing, Brett Henry, said AutomationHub is all about productivity, automating the time-consuming but necessary tasks such as schedule changes, waitlist processing and itinerary delivery.
“This solution ensures that those tedious but essential tasks are never missed,” Mr Henry said.
“It can be personalised so that agents will have the time to focus on other revenue generating activities.” Built on open standards, AutomationHub has been launched with several modules while more are in development.
Meanwhile, Abacus has also revealed a new accommodation product, RoomDeal, which enable agents to book some 140,000 properties from a range of aggregators and wholesalers, including many that do not participate in the Abacus GDS.
