Ralph Kelly, Managing Director, Hemisphere Hospitality Solutions

Ralph has held various strategic sales and marketing roles within the tourism and hospitality industry for over 33 years. Previous roles include: Accor Asia Pacific – National Director of Sales & Marketing (Resorts and Leisure), Rendezvous Hotels & Resorts International – Senior Vice President Sales & Marketing, Sabre Pacific – National Sales Manager, American Express responsible for travel management services to multi-national accounts, as well as Thomas Cook Travel Management and several sales roles at Qantas Airways Limited.
During his time with Accor, Ralph was responsible for sourcing, implementing and managing the relationship with  Channel Seven’s “Sunrise” morning program.  This relationship is now in it’s eight year and worth many millions of dollars.  Other projects included the research and feasibility analysis of Accor entering the franchise apartment market in Australia, which now accounts for a large percentage of Accor’s Australian properties, predominantly under the All Seasons brand.
Today Ralph is a managing director of “Hemisphere Hospitality Solutions” a company he started in March 2009.  Hemisphere is a specialist sales & marketing consultancy firm for predominently boutique independent properties.  Hemisphere is now two years old and represents over seventeen properties in Australia and one in Thailand.  www.hemispheresolutions.com.au
Hemisphere’s client base includes the John Singleton hotels – Pretty Beach House, Bells at Killcare and the John Singleton Beach House, Chateau Elan at the Vintage  Hunter Valley, Fitzroy Island Resort Cairns and the Lancemore group of hotels including the Mansion Hotel and Spa Werribee Park – to name a few.
Ralph holds the following qualifications: a Bachelor of Business degree (International Marketing) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
