Rezdy, the Sydney-based tours/activities aggregator and distributor, has just raised $3m to fund its growth in the United States and also develop new products.
The Series A fundraising was led by Bailador Technology Investments.
Bailador co-founder David Kirk has been appointed Rezdy’s new Chairman.
Rezdy’s CEO Simon Lenoir, CEO, pictured, said the company aims to become the world’s leading channel manager for tours and activities.
“In the last 12 months Rezdy has doubled its customer base and is now connecting more tour and activity providers to more distribution channels than anyone else in the travel industry,” Mr Lenoir said.
He added that 40% of Rezdy’s revenues are current generated outside its home market of Australia.
Bailador was an early investor in SiteMinder, which is now one of the world’s accommodation channel managers.
