Soaring Demand from Asian Travellers for Australian Hotels Reports Expedia

Expedia reports demand growth of 60% from Asian travellers for Australian hotels based on sales through its websites for the third quarter of 2015.

Hong Kong (up by over 90% year-on-year), Malaysia (90%) and China (80%) were the fastest-growing Asian markets.

Asian travellers booked accommodation an average of three weeks out from their stay, which was generally for two nights.
