As Director of Business Intelligence, Sonia is responsible for providing Nielsen’s clients in the APMEA region with insight and advice on emerging consumer and industry trends which affect their businesses.
Sonia has more than 20 years of experience in qualitative and quantitative research covering a diverse range of sectors, including consumer packaged goods (CPG), financial services, leisure and retail.
She has held a number of senior management roles with Nielsen in China and in Singapore, where she is now based. Sonia has championed the creation of a number of studies and research papers across a broad range of topics including:

- Go-To-Market Strategies For China’s Low Tier Cities
- Health and Wellness Trends in China
Prior to joining Nielsen Sonia has worked with research agencies in India and the Middle East and also ran her own consulting firm in Dubai before relocating to China with her family.
