After graduating from the University of Chichester in 1993 with a BA (Hons) Steve Reynolds joined PGL Travel, now part of the Holidaybreak PLC Group, as a Centre General Manager, responsible for the day to day operations and guest satisfaction at a 300 bed residential watersport adventure and activity centre in the South of France.
Steve moved to the Company’s Head Office in Ross-on-Wye, England and occupied a number of management roles during an 8 year career with PGL Travel, including overseeing the development and implementation of the company’s first fully integrated backoffice and online booking system, connecting all subsidiaries and trading brands and making PGL Travel one of the first British travel companies to offer its customers real time online booking functionality.
In 2002, after moving to Melbourne, Australia, Steve joined Tempo Holidays, initially on a consultancy basis and then full time in January 2003 as General Manager Product & E-Commerce. Technology development and product innovation have been at the forefront of Tempo Holidays’ growth and commercial success and as a result of Steve’s contribution in these areas he was promoted in June 2005 to the role of General Manager,
and then the newly created role of Chief Executive Officer in September 2006.
In November 2008, following the acquisition of Tempo Holidays by Cox & Kings, Steve became CEO for the newly incorporated Cox & Kings
