Adventure operator Intrepid Travel wants to increase its revenue from $130m to more than $200m, co-founder Darrell Wade has told Travel Today. He says the company is seeking “acquisitions, start-ups and new brands” and predicted an IPO will happen within three years. Wade has stepped aside from the Managing Director role – handing over to parter Geoff Manchester – to focus on driving this growth. “We need to scale up a bit,” Wade says.
