Australian visitor numbers to Thailand fell throughout the three months of summer, culminating in a -10.3% plunge during February, despite cheap, all-inclusive resort packages being heavily marketed by leading deal sites and travel agents.

Australian Bureau of Statistics show that Aussie visitor have been in accelerating decline, dropping -6.3% in January and -3% during December, making it the worst summer for Thai tourism operators ex-Australia in recent years.
