Tiger Airways Australia will now be grounded until the end of July, assuming the Federal Court approves an application by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority to extend the suspension of its services due to safety concerns. His role will be assumed by airline founder, Tony Davis, who has not made any public appearances or statements six days into the crisis. Update 8/7: Tony Davis has finally raised his head and told ABC Radio this morning that Tiger remained committed to the Australian market.
