Tardy Tiger Airways, already under pressure from the Civil Aviation Authority with a “show cause” notice, is now eight months late in registering last year’s accounts with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission. Tiger has refused to explain why. Somewhat ironic given the carrier’s no tolerance policy toward late passengers. But at least they don’t resort to violence, which is apparently the case with Hong Kong Airways, which is training its flight attendants in the martial art of Win Chun to subdue drunken passengers, a situation which arises three times a week on flights between Hong Kong and mainland China.
