Tough Times Ahead for NT Tourism as Flights Cut

Struggling Northern Territory tourism operators have taken another hit with news Qantas and Jetstar are  dramatically reducing services to Ayers Rock (Uluru) and Darwin. The biggest change is Qantas suspending all flights between Ayers Rock and Perth. Qantas is also halving its Cairns-Ayers Rock services from 14 to 7. Jetstar is cutting its Darwin-Sydney flights from 11 to 7 a week and reducing flights between Darwin and Denpasar.
