Media company Nine Entertainment today launched a Holiday Park site called Turu.com.au which GM Robert Gallagher said features 2000 listings around Australia. The revenue model of the inquiry only site – no bookings – will be the old-fashioned pay per lead.
Mr Gallagher said listings and leads are free to the end of this year to encourage as many holiday parks as possible to sign up. He said having bookable content is not a priority at this stage given the low-tech nature of the industry. See launch ad.
