The most underestimated tourism market according to new research are those tourists in disguise, the category otherwise known as VFR – visiting friends and relatives.

An online survey in July by Sydney-based of 800 Australian residents who visited friends or relatives  showed that 45% do not couch surf – they want to stay in commercial accommodation.
