Online travel company Webjet reports that all facets of its increasingly diversified business are growing strongly with profit after tax increasing by 17.2% to $10.7 million for the six months to December 31.
“We continue to see an acceleration of bookings shifting online in our B2C division and our planned investment strategy for the B2B division is delivering tangible results,” MD John Guscic said.
Total turnover was up 28%, revenue 26%, costs 27% (slightly eroding yield) while EBITDA grew 26%.
“We are seeing a continuation of these trends in the first part of 2H16, further propelling growth at a record TTV level.
“As it is still early, our full year guidance of $33.5m EBITDA remains unchanged.”
