The hard work now starts for Webjet, which today formally completed its acquisition of Asian online travel agent Zuji from Travelocity.com LP for $US25m. Zuji has never made a profit and lost A$3.6m in 2012. But Webjet reckons there are A$9m in synergies and that it can turn Zuji into a money maker. Webjet’s progress on this front will be outlined in its full year results announcement during August.
