Travel Indochina boss Paul Hole says the crucial Baby Boomer market has rebounded from the GFC with sales of its soft adventure product up 45%. “We’ve patched the damage from the GFC and are now on a full growth curve,” Hole says. Extra trips to cope with demand for the most popular small group tours in March and April have already sold out and Hole says Travel Indochina will do around 20,000 pax this year.
He and his friend Mark Bowyer started the company 18 years ago and it now sells product to Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, India, Japan, China, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Sinagpore and the Maldives. Its latest destinations are Bhutan and Mongolia.
